| The IFBB USN Cape Classic took place this weekend at Parow High School, showcasing some of Cape Town and South Africa's best up-and-coming talent. With the show being a qualifying event for the IFBB SA Novice National Championships, taking place on the 30th of April in Pretoria, the open divisions saw some of SA's more advanced athletes claiming first place in numerous divisions. The highlight of the event was without a doubt the finale for the overall title, which saw crowd favourite Werlou van Tonder do battle in compulsory poses against Anton Borez and Henk Smith. Werlou managed to secure first place and a cheque for R6,000.00, along with products sponsored by USN. Being the first show of the year for the IFBB you're guaranteed to see all of the athletes that competed in this event in even better condition as they progress through the 2010 show calendar. We wish all the athletes much success with their up-and-coming shows, and well done on their placings for the 2010 IFBB USN Cape Classic. |
