The IFBB King Arthur Classic was hosted by Central Gauteng on the 17th of April at the Blairgowrie Recreation Centre in Randburg. IFBB Pro bodybuilder Marius Dohne set the stage on fire with his posing routine that he is set to perform in his first professional appearance in May. The King Arthur Classic brought bodybuilding fans from all across Gauteng together to watch some great early season action. With the introduction of the open line-up division this year the show had athletes competing from Ghana and Swaziland. Another special guest appearance came in the form of 2009 Idol's finalist, Daniel Baron, wowing the audience and bringing amazing entertainment to the show. This year’s novice spectators and athlete numbers tripled in comparison to the 2009 novice show. There were 35 competitors, of which 4 were ladies. 16 of these athletes have been selected to represent Central Gauteng at the SA Novice Championships on the 1st of May in Pretoria. The show's namesake, Arthur Baron made his appearance with encouraging and positive words for the sport, and also presented the overall winner prize to George Munyobo. Muscle Evolution's Editor-in-Chief, Andrew Carruthers was the MC for the evening, who ensured the energy of the spectators and their participation in the show was so amazing that it literally lifted the roof off! The IFBB Gauteng Central would like to thank its sponsors Muscle Evolution Magazine, SSN and BodyGuru, without whom the success of this show would not have been possible. Placings and SA Team Selection are now up on www.ifbbgauteng.mobi, as well as our IFBB Facebook Page. Division results are as follows: Ladies Bikini: Masters O/40yrs: Senior 65-70kg: Senior 70 – 80kg: Senior Men O/75kg: OVER ALL WINNER
